The European Charter for Researchers is a set of general principles and requirements which specifies the roles, responsibilities and entitlements of researchers as well as employers of researchers. On the other hand, the Code of Conduct for the recruitment of researchers consists of a set of general principles and requirements that should be followed by employers when recruiting researchers. The main objective is to ensure the transparency of the recruitment process and equal treatment of all applicants.

The achievement of the HR Excellent Seal guarantees that the FHNP follows good practices for the recruitment of researchers as well as accomplishes with the requirement for participation in national and European calls such as Horizon 2020 and next program Horizonte Europe.

The process to obtain the recognition is being led by the Foundation General Manager with the collaboration of the Board of Trustees Secretary and the Human Resources and Project Management Department. An external consultant, Effectia, has been asked to advice in the first steps of the process.
